Azerbaijan accused Armenia of violating new ceasefire regime

TASS, October 26. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has made the Armenian Armed Forces responsible for the violation of the ceasefire that came into force on Monday at 07:00 Moscow time.

"Despite the announcement of a new humanitarian ceasefire from 08:00 (local time) on October 26, the Armenian Armed Forces once again grossly violated the agreement reached," the ministry said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense assured that Azerbaijan fully complies with the terms of the ceasefire.

"Units of the Azerbaijani army along the entire front are in full compliance with the humanitarian ceasefire, which came into force on October 26 at 08:00 (local time, 07:00 Moscow time)," the ministry said in a statement.

On Sunday evening, the two states, through the mediation of the United States, agreed on a new ceasefire for humanitarian purposes in Nagorno-Karabakh.
