YEREVAN, October 21. / TASS /. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday, during a live broadcast on his Facebook page, called on the heads of local self-government bodies, leaders of parties and public organizations under the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces to create volunteer units to participate in hostilities in the conflict zone around Nagorno-Karabakh.

"I call on all mayors, heads of villages, heads of local self-government bodies, parties, non-governmental organizations to form volunteer groups that will protect the rights of the Armenian people. They should be at the disposal of the Chief of the General Staff, and the moment of formation should be considered as an oath, which means that they must clearly be in these places and carry out the task assigned to them by the command, "he said.

According to the head of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, the situation on the contact line is rather difficult. "Active hostilities are taking place in the southern direction. Our observations show that the enemy is throwing the last reserves into battle. Their resources are very large, but our heroic soldiers inflict untold losses on the enemy," he added.
