Action movies are not just about explosions and deadly confrontations. Some of them surprise by the well elaborated plot, quality of the script, production and direction. The genre is among the favorites of Netflix users. Revista Bula analyzed the titles of the genre available in the streaming service and gathered the top ten in a list. Some highlights among those selected are Implacável (2019), by Jesse V. Johnson and “Deep Horizon: Disaster in the Gulf” (2016), by Peter Berg ;. The films are organized according to the year of release and do not obey classification criteria.

In 2049, replicants – artificial human beings manufactured thanks to the development of bioengineering – are more evolved and obedient. One is K, a blade runner who hunts outlaws for the police.
