In 2020, with cinemas closed all over the world, most of the launches took place in streaming, which facilitated public access to the most awaited productions of the year. Bula brought together in a list the 20 best titles released this year in Brazil, which are available on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, the most popular platforms in the country. The selection was based on five other lists: "Esquire", "Empire", "NYT", "The Guardian" and "Rotten Tomatoes". Among those chosen are Liz Garbus's “Lost Girls: The Long Island Crimes”; “The Devil of Every Day”, by Antonio Dias; and the documentary “False Confessions”, directed by Katrine Philp.
